Our Sports Liquiwax contains essential oils of Manuka (from the same plant used to make Manuka honey) and Lemon. We also blend in a high quality Calendula Paste from New Zealand, and Hypericum (St John’s Wort). With its lemony/leathery scent, this wax is neither herbal nor floral.

Manuka essential oil has a long history of use by the Maori people and has been referred to as the New Zealand Tea Tree Oil.

Songbird Sports Liquiwax is an excellent pre- and post-event massage medium.

If you are looking for a stronger grip, you could try our Sports Massage Wax or Fascial Release Wax, as they both contain similar ingredients but offer a stronger and tighter grip. Our Fascial Release Waxes are ideal for Myofascial Release work and deep tissue work, which require a deeper, slower and more controlled functionality.

About our Liquiwaxes: Liquiwax is a more viscous version of our classic Massage Wax and comes in a pump dispenser. Upon application, Liquiwax allows for long, gliding strokes, ideal for bodywork. It maintains a tight grip, but has more ‘slip’ than our classic massage waxes.

Liquiwaxes are an excellent alternative to massage waxes for those looking for a pump dispenser method and a slightly stronger glide factor. In addition, they make for a luxurious body moisturiser and are excellent at removing makeup!

Notes on using the pump dispenser:

1. Remove tamper evident protection The pump features an integrated tamper evident closure on the back of the pump head to ensure the integrity of the contents. It has to be removed first before pumping the first time.

2. Starting the dispenser pump and variable-dosing function For first time use, turn the dispenser head to the "Start" position and start pumping. Despite the high-performance of the vacuum pump-system it usually takes a few strokes until the Liquiwax comes out. It is essential that the dispenser head is raised 100% to achieve the highest possible vacuum effect. As soon as the Liquiwax is being dispensed, the desired dispensing quantity can be set individually according to specific needs: 3ml, 5ml, 7ml

The grey integrated protection flap on the nozzle self-opens automatically and protects the contents from dust and drying out as well as preventing contamination of the wax. It might need an occasional wipe.
