Our Balms are nut free and always have been. As we transition to new labels, the products you receive may not feature a nut free logo. However the product is nut free.
Our Bee Balm is our original healing and soothing Balm. It has been used for scratches, burns, sunburn, cracked skin, grazes, rashes and scar tissue. It is gentle on skin prone to eczema and psoriasis.
Our naturally rich Bee Balm is excellent for everyday use as a skin conditioner and barrier cream, especially for working hands. It is highly popular with mothers concerned with nappy rash and cradle cap, as well as pre- and postnatal stretch marks.
Great for Baby's bum!
Propolis is increasingly referred to as 'nature's antibiotic'; a marvellous natural substance utilised by bees to prevent bacterial infection in the hive. Vitamin E accelerates the healing of burns and damaged skin.
With its ability to soften and nourish the skin, Bee Balm is appropriate for use in the secondary healing of scar tissue.
On application, the idea of 'use less more often' is one to remember. Massage in to dry areas properly and work in all the excess, rather than having too much. The efficacy is at the point of contact.
Bee Balm contains no essential oils or Almond Oil, making it the medium of choice for professionals who have clients with nut allergies. It is also used by professionals who are massaging pregnant clients, or are pregnant themselves.
Please note: You may notice that the ingredients list for our Bee Balm contains alcohol. This comes from the Propolis tincture we use. The total alcohol content in the balm is very small (0.19%), and the majority of alcohol evaporates off during the manufacturing process. This makes the alcohol content negligible, but we are still required by law to list it on the label’s ingredients list. Please rest assured our Bee Balm is still safe for use on young children.
